Countdown to Dreamforce: From virtual viewer to first-time presenter
Dreamforce to me is the "Christmas" of the Salesforce ecosystem—and for good reason. It’s the most anticipated event of the year for anyone involved in Salesforce, with months of planning, excitement, and collaboration. It’s the place where groundbreaking announcements are made, new technologies are introduced, and where you can meet new people, while building lasting connections.
For years, I’ve watched Dreamforce from the comfort of my home via Salesforce+, soaking in the excitement from afar. But this year, the excitement reaches new heights as I attend Dreamforce in person for the very first time—and I couldn't be more thrilled.
My Dreamforce Presentations
I’m especially excited about Dreamforce this year because I’m presenting two sessions! Being part of the action is a dream come true, and I’m eager to share my insights and connect with the community.
1. Discover What's New in Formulas for Admins and Developers
In this session, I’ll be presenting alongside Barbara Laskowska, Solution Consultant from Aquiva Labs where we will explore how Admins and Developers can collaborate effectively. We’ll focus on leveraging Einstein for formulas and dynamic formula evaluation in Apex. You’ll also get to see real-life use cases that simplify the lives of Admins and Developers, making their day-to-day work a bit easier.
Due to the popularity of this session, we’re presenting it twice:

2. Secure Your Dream Job with the Power of LinkedIn & Community
In my second session, I’ll be sharing my journey on how LinkedIn and the Trailblazer Community played pivotal roles in securing my position at Horizontal Digital. This talk will focus on how to use LinkedIn as your live résumé, and how the power of community can help you secure your next job. It’s a topic close to my heart, and I’m looking forward to inspiring others.

Other Events I’m Excited About
Aside from my sessions, I’m eager for some of the events my team at Horizontal is organizing. In particular, "The Power of Trust: Locking Down Data While Unlocking Its Value" with Tyler Colby, Solution Engineer from Odaseva and Anil Pilania, Managing Director, Salesforce Practice at Horizontal Digital promises to be insightful and crucial for those focused on data security and trust. RSVP for the event.
Another highlight is the main keynote. I can’t wait to learn about Agentforce and its potential to revolutionize Service AI. It’s sure to be a game-changer!
Dreamforce Preparation Checklist
With less than two weeks to go, preparation is in full swing. If you’re attending Dreamforce for the first time (like me), or even if you're a seasoned veteran, here are a few tips to get ready:
-
Build Your Agenda Early: With so many amazing sessions and events, use the Dreamforce app to plan your must-attends and favorite sessions. Time slots can fill up fast!
-
Bring Snacks: With long days and packed schedules, energy bars and snacks can be lifesavers. You don’t want to miss a session because you’re stuck in a food line.
-
Comfortable Shoes and Compression Socks: You’ll be walking a lot. Trust me, comfort is key to surviving Dreamforce.
-
Battery Packs: Between taking notes, networking, and staying connected, your phone will be working overtime. A portable charger will be your best friend.
-
Hydration: Keep a water bottle handy. It’s easy to forget to stay hydrated when you’re running between sessions.
-
Leave Room in Your Luggage for Swag: You’ll definitely collect some cool swag, so make sure you have space to bring it all back home.
Dreamforce is not just a conference—it’s an experience. It’s the place to learn, grow, and make meaningful connections. Whether you're attending sessions, networking, or simply soaking in the energy, there’s something for everyone.
I’m incredibly excited about the sessions I’ll be presenting and the events I’ll be attending. If you’ll be there in person, I’d love to connect—let’s grab a coffee and chat about all things Salesforce.
If you haven’t yet finalized your Dreamforce agenda, now’s the time! And if you’re as excited as I am about learning, networking, and soaking in all things Salesforce, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s make the most of this incredible event!
See you at Dreamforce!
